In this corner standing at 5'10", Brooke Hogan is waiting to challenge her pop star peers to a musical smackdown. Stikingly gorgeous with piercing green eyes and long blond hair this 17 year old has been watching,cheering and rooting for success but never in the spotlight lik that of her father, wrestling great Terry "Hulk" Hogan. Now, as the "Hulkster" adjusts to retirement,Brooke is stepping into the ring with a VH1 reality series titled Hogan Knows Best(debuts July 2005).She is also in the studio working on her debut album with none other than Larry Rudloph the man who brought us Britney Spears.

 

Raised in Tampa,Florida,but often traveling the country with her mother to see her father in action,Brooke was fueled by the intensity of her father's drive for success. So,when Brooke was ten years old,she stopped waiting for fate to hand her a record deal,and started flipping through the yellow pages calling talent agents.Says Brooke,"I wasn't raised with a silver spoon.I was raised to be resourceful and follow through with everything I set out to do,so that's what I did,"she says with a laugh.Brooke threw herself into her dream of reaching pop stardom,taking piano lessons,dance lessons,voice lessons,cheerleading and more. Her parents recognized her rive and arranged for a meeting for Brooke with legendary music entrepreneur Lou Pearlman,who helped her get her start.Now, with performances under her belt opening up for Hilary Duff and singing at Radio Disney's Jingle Jam and countless other events,Brooke is preparing herself for a debut album and a shot at pop stardom.

 

Brooke previously had a musical sucess with her first single,"Everything To Me," which hit #1 on the Billboard Singles Sales chart and showcased Brooke's influences that run tha gamut from Stevie Wonder to Pink. Her music stresses pop hit with strong musicality that highlight Brooke's vocal ability and piano playing. Her upcoming album will also showcase her writing ability,with several songs written by Brooke.
